    War for the Chair

Brain Azzerello has been giving us one of the greatest Wonder Woman stories we've had for a while. Now that Diana has left Paradise Island and Strife is gone. Things might get a bit better. But why do things seem to be getting worst?

    THE GOOD:
The artist is different this issue. Tony Akins is new to me but I'm liking what he did this issue. The colors make it look also similar to Cliff's work. I like the way he drew Diana is clothes this issue. The story is actually where things heat up but also slow down. I really like seeing Diana and Zola interacting and talking. I think that Diana is showing more of her loving side and I'm really liking it. I also really like the two big players that stepped into this issue and I don't see how Diana will save the day this time. Really liked how Diana presented herself to a bad guy.

    THE BAD:
This issue actually is more of a talk issue. It kinda slows down the pace from what we've had in the past four issue. However, I think that the people they introduced in this issue will have things going faster then before.

    THE VERDICT: 4/5 (Great)
Wonder Woman is one of the best series of the New 52. Brain has a story to tell and so far it's been pretty great. We have met a new character and have been reintroduced to the gods. While I miss a few old things about the gods, I think these new version are a lot cooler and have a more we could be good and bad feeling to them. If you like good comics, then this is something you might want to check out.

This series is moving along at a nice steady pace here, not really disappointing on any front but not really exciting either.  Of course a series which relies on plot over action will always be more enticing to me and this series has that, though even the action is present enough here as well.  Sitting around London discussing the recent events, the three get two unlikely visitors, one a previously unencountered immortal whose path is tied to Diana's in a way she is not yet sure, and the other i...

When I first saw the cover to this issue, two thoughts came to mind, the first being rather obvious: What the heck is that blue thing, and why is Cliff Chiang's name missing from this cover? As it turns out, Tony Akins is a mighty fine substitute for Cliff Chiang. Either he always draws in this fashion, or he changed his style to match the tone of the previous four issues (I am unfamiliar with his work, unfortunately). The book looks marvelous, and will work wonderfully in the upcoming trade.Ther...
