    1. Return Of The Phantom Empire: (Wonder Woman) Paradise Island is being hit every 90 minutes by shells that seem to come from nowhere. Wonder Woman catches one of the shells and finds it has markings from a continent that was lost 9,000 years ago so she goes back in time to find the source and learns shells being fired from a mountaintop are passing through a time warp that the people firing them don't know about.

    Wonder Woman #49 - Return of the Phantom Empire by razzatazz on June 22, 2011

    The first story here deals with a time traveling Wonder Woman who must travel to the past to stop artillery shells which are passing through a warp in the time stream and falling on Paradise Island (modern artillery did not exist 9000 years ago though.)  In the past she finds two rival kingdoms at war with one another, each led by two opposing brothers.  She helps them to achieve peace before returning to the present.  There was also a fight with a whale that was kind of non sequitur.  In the se...
