Aunt Astrte did not even make this issue enjoyable!! 0

The cover for this issue of Wonder Woamn I really hated because all  it had was a flash of light that covers most of wonder woman's body and it explains none of the story. I really think it was one of the worst in a long time. The story is about wonder woman's aunt wanting to destroy earth. They had a scene were Wonder Woman with the lasso of truth makes Astrte remember what she had forgotten the day they took her sister. In the end they come to an agreement about the whole destruction of the ea...

This issue is sort of an homage (whether purposeful or not - though with this writer i have to assume its on purpose) to the stories of the golden and silver age.  First of all the story is one very similar to when Diana was at NASA, having to battle a mechanical snake from outer space.  There is also a partial retelling of the origin and a contest to be held.  Of course this is almost thirty years later since the silver age and the writing is of a much higher quality.  There are a few surprises...
