Wow On Top of Wow!
The conclusion of another four part story by the regular Wonder Woman creative team turned out exciting and vastly enjoyable with the majority of the Wonder Woman family being used in the best of light. My concerns from last issue were quickly put to rest in quick succession as soon as Princess Diana reclaimed her spine and took the fight to her enemies aided by both the Amazons and the Thalarions, the zombie Argonaut warriors created by Zeus to replace Wonder Woman and her immortal sisters. Zeus's strange behavior is at last explained and the King of the Gods actually learned a valuable lesson from the Amazing Amazon - let's just hope it sticks. Cottus, the hundred armed monster and bane of Paradise Island, turns out to be integral to the origin of Wonder Woman in a nice twist that compounds on the original post-Crisis creation of Diana. Oh, and Ares, the God of War and Lord of the Underworld, or at least his cursed spirit, proves why he continues to be the worst (and best) of Wonder Woman's enemies! Diana may have regained her family, her home, and her station among the Amazons, but she hasn't shaken the evil son of Zeus yet (YES!).
