Superb. Really.
It took me a long time to come on board with this run of Wonder Woman. I hadn't read her since the early 90's, just before and during the infamous Mike Deodato run. But I have to say, this is a great comic right now. I like Cliff Chiang's sharp, clean, pared-down art. It's like it's drawn with an axe! Here we find out a bit more about Brian Azzarello's new version of Diana's origin and how the Greek Gods work in the DCnU. What I like most is how tough and awesome Wonder Woman is. She's a character we can root for, and she's strong and decisive, a true hero. Poor Zola gets a little lost in the sidelines in this issue, I'll admit, and I hope she will be back next time, seeing as she's the main reason for this story arc! But this series is definitely firing on all cylinders right now. To conclude: if you're not already reading this, and you have at any time in the past liked Diana or found her intriguing, buy this series now!
