Video Stimulation
This issue would be all right except for the kind of strange social message it is trying to convey. The basic rundown of the plot is that Diana keeps coming up against people that are getting hypnotized by a video game. First a truck driver, then Blockbuster then Steve. The action with the Blockbuster was decent enough but the concept of video games sort of brainwashing people is a poorly understood one. I know that people can get addicted to playing video games, but here that addiction is represented as something almost cult-like as opposed to what it is in reality. In doing so this issue sort of falls into the same category of people that criticize something without fully understanding it. In the end I know that there is some sort of evil genius behind this, but that is not really the point that is being made here. In the backup story the Huntress has to rescue Alfred from some kidnappers.
