    Bringing it back

The previous few issues have left the title sort of flagging.  I don't think it helped to have Invasion imposed on the series, but its what happened.  Here we see Diana making an attempt to retrieve her lasso.  She goes to England to talk with Barbara Minerva who has already tried to steal it once.  She falls for the old cliche of a poisoned tea, and while Barbara's assistant Chuma is watching Diana "die" he explains the history of the Cheetah.  I thought this was much more along the lines of what to expect from this title.  The story still doesn't seem as tight as Perez had been writing during the beginning of his run, but it benefits from getting back to a superhero style plotline without all the commentary about society or the lives of women.  Essentially we have been waiting for this story arc for just under two years since the Cheetah first appeared and this issue gives at least the promisethat the story will be well told.
