    Countdown engines on!

The cover makes reference to Body Snatchers which was a popular movie from the era (and from the 1950s as well) but it has nothing in common at all with this issue.   The mystery of Astarte is investigated more and Diana eventually returns to Earth to conduct some astronaut training.   The Amazons are summoned back to the moon where they battle Astarte once again.   This sort of wraps up the background Amazon stories which were running 10 issues previous (but sort of doesn’t wrap them up either).   The ending is a bit too mythologically based when I was expecting sci-fi.   I am not a big fan of the mixture of the two, but even with that not withstanding the story was just generally too weak.   Only the moments of Diana at the NASA facility was of some redeeming factor.
