razzatazz's Wonder Woman #226 - Wonder Woman and Superman - Friends or Foes? review

This is in my opinion the best ever Wonder Woman and Superman themed issue. Instead of focusing on an unlikely romance it focuses on what the character truly are - friends.  They actually refer to a romance between them numerous times all the while regarding it as pure nonsense.  Although Batman is occasionally referred to, this issue is about these specific two of DC's trinity.  It speaks well to both of their characters, the part with Diana talking to rioters instead of just subduing them was a really good moment, and if you need a reason to think of why Diana is set apart from other heroes, this is it.  Throughout though there are moments of greater depth, referring to things like the importance of symbology, death and even a small quip or two about what it means to be a female hero.  This is a great way to end the series on a high rather than on a low (the goodbyes were said last issue) as it highlights the characters and their affinity for each other.
