     This was a reintroduction of sorts for me to an era of Diana Prince/Wonder Woman’s life that I know very little about, the time that the Amazon Princess was an agent of the United Nations. Also in this issue I learned that though Steve Trevor had been killed in the loss-of-super powers Wonder Woman era, he’s been revived here in ’76, having adopted the last name, “Howard.” Apparently both Steve and Diana are finding it troublesome to cope with his resurrection as both have changed much in the t...

    In terms of what to expect out of the silver age, this issue pretty much has it all and pulls it off relatively well.  The gods Ares and Hephaestus have created a device which reacts to human emotion and will create a corresponding fire.  Meanwhile there is an actress that has been having trouble with here career which Diana is forced to care for as a result of a new position at the United Nations.  The powers being utlized here were a bit more realistic than usual than the complete lack of logi...
