Marathon - Part Two last edited by Symlen on 05/15/18 09:07AM View full history

During the last issue, Wonder Woman was horded by attacks of the OMACs, and Io and Phillipus go and help her out. Diana recovers and they go back into the defensive force field, however, the OMACs have already infiltrated it. Artemis finally uses the weapon that Io constructed called the Purple Death Ray to destroy all the OMACs. When all the OMACs die, she realises that this fight is being broadcasted all around, and makes it look like the Amazons are killing innocents. Wonder Woman realises that her acts will never be forgiven and tells her sisters that they must withdraw from Man's World. She does not join them however, and says "My destiny was never on this island" while her sisters fade away into another dimension when more OMACs come to face off with her.

This issue also gives light on some of the Amazons and it gives us a sense of loss in human life and the Amazons. You can see that the art is rushed. According to DC, Rags Morales would be doing the art, but a fill-in guy had to come. The fill-in person does do a good job, showing detailed emotion, though you ca...
