Moving along
This issue is the lead-in to including Wonder Woman more closely in the events leading to Infinite Crisis. At the same time the issue is wrapping up other aspects of the sub-plots running through the series which have to be tied up in one fashion or another. There is therefore a lot of coutting back and forth between different story lines here. Jonah reveals his deception, Leslie confronts Veronica, Wonder Woman forces a conversation with Cassie, Ares and Circe are reunited with their daughter after about ten years of issues where they were separated. Mostly though this issue sets the stage for the excellent issue which follows (the Maxwell Lord issue) which is one of the defining moments of the character. Being that as it is, this issue does what it needs to do to get the reader there, and does it in a pretty fun way.
