Out With the Old Gods In With The New

I love the cover to this issue it looks like something for a Dario Argento film.

This issue gave a lot of updates, and some familiar faces. Wonder Woman and Lennox are trying to track down the Zola's baby. After a spat breaks out and is resolved, Milan uses his maggot eyes and telepathic files to track down the baby. We find out the baby is more important than it seems.

We also get some action in the Arctic with The First Born fighting giant ice monsters (don't tell Thor). This was a great sequence, but was over just as it was getting good.

There is a funny segment with Zola and Hera at a bar, with Hera trying to figure out how to order alcohol. Then run into War, and Zola runs into a character that hasn't been seen in a while.

I was never really a big Wonder Woman fan, but I'm glad I gave the series a shot in The New 52. It's been constantly good, and the art has always been great.

I'm digging the long drawn out story lines too. If anyone isn't reading this series, they really should check it out. It doesn't disappoint.

SummaryWonder Woman and Lennox seek Milan’s help in locating Zola’s child; however are confronted by Orion, who has his own concerns about the baby. Hera and Zola leave the confines of the hideout to go for a drink, and are confronted by Ares. Meanwhile, the First Born squares off against Hades’ drones in a bloody battle. What I liked· The world: What makes this series worth reading is the expansive world that it has created. As I will admit later on, not a lot happened in this issue; or at least...
