    The GoodThis issue ranges from extremely grim and shadowy scenes to fun and pure adventure. The grim part comes at the start and takes place in the Arctic and some explorers are looking for someone they find him (not sure who it is though) and bites one of the explorers heads off it's well written it's disgusting and it does a good job of setting things up for future story arcs.Then we get a scene with Apollo and several other Greek Gods it's an interesting scene and apollo explains to them all ...

    THE GOOD: Tony Akins does a fairly good job at filling in for Cliff Chaing. The actions that Wonder Woman does in this issue, his art makes them look godlike and beautiful. The quirky expressions that he adds to the characters adds a sense of drama. The story is pure gold. We get to see the arrive of a new villain character. Then, we get to see Apollo, fresh from last issue, gather the gods together and it adds a lot of interesting new details about what Apollo is doing. Then we get to see Wonde...

    I suppose in the overall scheme of things that the depiction of Greek Gods in the modern has some appeal to some people but it is mostly lost on me.  There is generally enough of interest in modern day that I don't feel that it is necessary to resurrect the past in such a way, even with a character that is somewhat based on the stories.  If this series can be given any credit it is that it has made these character current even if it doesn't always fit.  The first half of this issue deals with th...
