razzatazz's Wonder Woman #115 - The Men Who Moved the World Part 1 review

    Here, there, everywhere

After losing some forward motion for the past few issues this one at least has develops some interest with the advancement of three storylines.  It is immediately after the end of Final Night which initially caused some confusion but once I figured that out it made more sense.  It was a little strange how Byrne decided to use this so much in the story, but it didn't affect it that much.  In one plot Champion's past is being investigated while Wonder Woman appears to be developing feelings for him.  The reader should at this point know that Champions is Herakles, and although I don't really like the idea of romance between him and Diana I am willing to give benefit of the doubt at the moment.  Another plot deals with what the reader should have figured out is Hippolyta in Louisiana suffering from a weird illness.  Finally some mysterious creatures have escaped from sarcophagi at the museum.  Its a pretty set-up issue, now it is just for the following issues to deliver.  It was also kind of fun to see Cave Carson make an appearance.  Also of Byrne's contribution to the character, the reintroduction of the Invisible Plane probably stands among the most important.
