There may be a little spoiler in this video for the movie and part of Sabretooth's role.  It's something mentioned in the comics but it sounds like they take it to another level.  A level that I think is just lame.  If you seen the leaked unfinished version of the movie (which I do not want to hear about) maybe you already knew this.   Maybe we can just hope that the game's developers didn't quite get all the facts from the movie.

So if they're going to be brothers....why is his name Creed? Does that make Wolverine James Howlett? James Logan? James Creed?

From what I can gather this isn't exactly a spoiler, given Logan/Creed's relationship is reportedly established pre-credits. That and the 2nd of the 3 TV spots Fox was bigging up on its own channel a few months ago was actually called "Brothers" and revealed their relationship right there (huh....a trailer revealing important plot points well in advance of the film....I genuinely hope this doesn't become a trend).

In the filmmakers' defence, this interpretation of their relationship serves to water down and simplify an epically convoluted part of the X/Wolverine comics (He's Wolverine's father...no wait, Wolverine's HIS father...no, wait, they're wolf people! Loeb, you've done it again you sly GENIUS!) and if done right could give their relationship a fresh, innerestin' edge. The Sabretooth TV spot revealed recently gives me a lot of hope for these 2 characters in the film anyway.

I posted the "Brothers" trailer here before.  What I was hoping for was that Sabretooth wasn't actually his brother in the movie (as he shouldn't be).  In the credits, Aaron Jeffery is listed as "Logan's Half Brother" (according to imdb).  I assumed that was the brother (Dog Logan) that was being referred to.

we kinda got that Dog/Victor's father (LOGAN) had an affair/impregnated James Howlett's mother in the Origin six parter.  and Wolvie's dad was too much of a wuss to do anything about it.  Creed being Logan's half brother is not that far fetched

I wish wolverine had his true brother, from Wolverine: The End.

I don't really care.

I just want sabretooth to be a beast. Which I think he will be.
