    So in the latest New Avengers Luke Cage and Jessica Jones began interviewing nannies for their daughter Danielle. Someone who was available to stay at the mansion, look after their baby and keep her out of trouble if trouble finds them. The one they settled on was Squirrel Girl. After they hired her though it was shown that Wolverine and Squirrel Girl have a history....kinda seemed romantic specially since she called him James. I think this idea is hilarious, Wolverine is a bit of a ladies man I'm just wondering was this added for the joke or has there ever actually been anything between these two? I kinda hope that its just thrown in for the sake of humor.

    It's impossible that Doreen knows Logan from times when he was called "James" without time travelling.  
    Logan rediscovers his real name was "James" after Assault on Weapon Plus (2003, short before Squirrel Girl was recruited by Great Lakes Avengers)
    In I ♥ (Love) Marvel  Doreen fantasizes with kiss Speedball. Title of the tale suggest it was her first kiss (2006)
    Some time later, in Deadpool/GLI Summer Fun Spectacular, the crush between Squirrel Girl and Speedball comes to a tragic end (2007)
    Before he begans his relation with Melita Garner (2010) Wolverine dates several women (She Hulk, Amir, Yukio, Domino...)  
    My bet? Wolverine and Squirrel Girl have their affaire between World War Hulk and Utopia, when she should be 18 already
     
    EDIT: Or perhaps they're never been romantically involved and Bendis is playing with us

    Haven't read the NA issue, but i seem to remember that Squirrel Girl a bit fangirlish, so maybe it only happened in her head.

    Nah, don't match. They barely coincided in it. Must be other Poker Party between Hulk arrives to Manhattan and Wolverine begins to date Melita short after Utopia events. Doreen trying to forget Robbie, and old Logan smells fresh meat. Little Red Riding Hood story over again

    considering that he's around 200 any woman actually in his age group has probably been dead for awhile so would him dating an 18 year old be any worse than him dating a woman in her mid 20s to early 30s

    Not strictly but It's the most used rartio for years. Last examples of that? In Fantastic Four 564, Mark Millar stablished that Franklin was between 10 and 11 (2009-1968=41 >>>>> 41/4 = 10) and in Fantastic Four 578, Jonathan Hickman said that Alex Power is about 19 (2010-1984=26 >>>> 26/4 = 6.5  >>>> 12 + 6.5 = 18.5)
