pretty disappointed, The the design is terrible he should got a new suit to match with his fellow avengers. Hes no longer a x-men to me. 2/5 on the cover.
Wolverine
Character » Wolverine appears in 16086 issues.
A long-lived mutant with the rage of a beast and the soul of a Samurai, James "Logan" Howlett's once mysterious past is filled with blood, war, and betrayal. Possessing an accelerated healing factor, keenly enhanced senses, and bone claws in each hand (along with his skeleton) that are coated in adamantium; Wolverine is, without question, the ultimate weapon.
Marvel Announces SAVAGE WOLVERINE
Does only dc fans comment on marvel stories n vice versa, all I ever see is hate.... Wolverine is an awesome character.... The savage lands is one of my favorite places in the marvel u
Am I wrong for feeling as if X-Men's suddenly become "Wolverine, Wolverine, Wolverine...and the Other Guys...and WOLVERINE" in recent years?

Even though I agree that the comic book fandom contains a dangerous amount of cynicism nowadays, and that whenever you see an announcement from the Big Two there's a lot of negative reactions, this news is less than inspiring for a lot of people for various reasons:
- Wolverine gets a comic book. Not surprising. This is as exciting to hear as Batman getting a new series.
- Even though Cho might be a talented artist, that probably won't apply to his writing duties. There's a lot of cases of artists being horrible writers.
- Finally, some people truly aren't interested in this.
Cho has me not only at Savage...but also at mention of Sheena...and Cthulhu...Wow. I guess we can say Wolverine will have another notch on his romantic conquests belt if its a team up with Sheena.
I'll give it a try if for no other reason than it's a Wolverine solo that isn't delving into his past. I swear, it seems like all writers ever want to do is wade waist-deep into Wolvie's convoluted history. And honestly, I stopped caring about his past in the early '90s.
At least this is something new for him to do, and looks to steer away from the standard Wolvie-Angst we're usually treated to. Now if only we could get Jubilee back as a semi-regular sidekick.
Why is Wolverines claws larger than his forearm?
Why is Wolverine wearing Batman's utility belt?
Why is Wolverine wearing sneakers and not his boots that suits with his uniform?
And what so 'Savage' about Wolverine that we don't know already?
Regardless, I'll pick this up if I hear some positive review when it comes out.
That red banner at the bottom really spoils the cover. Other then that I'll pick up #1 and if it's crap then it's getting dropped. But I hope it's awesome.
Looks terrible. LOL
He is just taking his Shanna and adding Wolverine.
Great, it is an Indiana Jones type story, but why do I care? This sounds like a worthless throwaway story. It'll sell nonetheless though so I can see why Marvel doesn't care what material is in it.
Wolverine is a GREAT character.
Unfortunately, i only care enough to follow what's going on in summary format, but not enough to buy the series. I think it's the overexposure, which many people speak of, that has made me numb.
I think most people vocalize how they aren't interested because they want to be interested, but are jaded by the overexposure. The overexposure to me means that nothing relevant can happen to the character because he/she is governed by a large group many of which aren't writers and also because the character is in multiple places at once. Even though he's in savage land he's also in NYC and at the X-School and wherever else he is. If he's in other places it feels that the current story isn't that important... E.G. Daredevil feels more real & that that story is important.
I understand why they do it. The all mighty dollar, plus I'd think many writers would like to write him. He adds an element to many teams. But it has caused a loss of a certain "intimacy" with the character.

This sounds like a secondary wolverine title. hopefully there is a main title that sounds better.
It's called Wolverine and the X-Men by Jason Aaron and it's awesome!!!!!!
He is wearing a uniform and his shoe laces are very neatly tied, not very savage. I kid, I hope this turns out good, and it focuses on character rather than "He goes savage n fights n stuff".
I'm actually interested that Logan returns to the Savage Land. Maybe they finally roll up the plot of the son he had in the Savage land in the Jungle Adventure. Then again, another story about Wolverine's kids? One other hand, it has potential to be a good plot, if only Cho comes up with something actually new.
