I was just wondering how high Logan could fall and survive
Wolverine
Character » Wolverine appears in 16062 issues.
A long-lived mutant with the rage of a beast and the soul of a Samurai, James "Logan" Howlett's once mysterious past is filled with blood, war, and betrayal. Possessing an accelerated healing factor, keenly enhanced senses, and bone claws in each hand (along with his skeleton) that are coated in adamantium; Wolverine is, without question, the ultimate weapon.
How high can Wolverine fall and still survive?
Well, he dies all the time and just comes back almost immediately. After he was tricked into killing all his children as the Mongrels after Wolverine Goes to Hell he repeatedly threw himself off a high cliff to momentarily kill himself as self punishment/relief from guilt.

In Wolverine #310 James was skeptical about his chances of surviving a fall from the Empire State Building. Whether or not his concern was valid... I have no idea.
This as he maid the drop a penny and it go through to the subway reference meaning his adamantium skeleton would rip through his skin anyway i think thats what he meant

@k4tzm4n: Wasn't there a time he dies when he had his HF restricted due to a collar as he dove out of a shield helicarrier or something? He ended dying IIRC but his HF brought him back.
you are talking about a issue in the civil war event and he didn't die he cut the handcuffs with his claws and later he cut the collar in the end he fell to the ground but he had the HF

I think that is it, yeah. Thanks.
@Yamata: In House of M Logan jumped off a Helicarrier in New York that was above/even with the cloud line into a building with very minimal damage.
Clouds form at around 16,500 to 40,000 ft in the temperate region (New York)
Lets pick the average here and say the Helicarrier was floating 30,000ft in the air. Lets put the average building at around 500ft.
He fell 29,500ft into a building (sorry, no hay here) and was really fine.
I would quadruple that height and guarantee his survival. At some point terminal velocity would come into effect and it really wouldn't matter how high he fell as long as he could survive xxx,xxx feet he could survive xxx, xxx, xxx feet

This.
If he fell from far enough he might get buried in the earth deeply enough for him to not get out or breath.

As high as he wants.
this there are a bunch of times where he gets thrown, throws himself or jumps off of very high places such as after the goes to hell story arc mentioned above etc.
