So earth-616 James Howlett aka Logan aka Wolverine technically died of getting cast in adamantium, but at the time he was dying already from the adamantium poisoning. so how come Old Man Logan isn't dying from Adamantium poisoning. His healing factor is lessened but it's still phenomenal. But that all completely contradicts what happen to Earth-616 Wolverine how he was dying of adamantium poisoning, AND he lost his healing factor. So how the fuck does Old Man Logan better than Earth-616

I don't get what makes this complicated? Old man Logan still had a good healing factor, good enough to keep the adamantium poisoning at bay while 616 Logan had no healing factor. And he was completely coated and suffocated by the adamantium, so no wonder he died.

@god_spawn: but how come 616 Logan got a bad healing factor, yet Old Man Logan didn't.

@kojax: He lost his healing factor to an alien virus. His isn't bad, he didn't have it at the time of his death.

The way that adamantium poisoning was first established in 1988's Uncanny X-Men #237, Logan should of only lasted a couple days before succumbing to the poison. It was even mentioned that Wolverine would die if he lost his X gene in House of M and the aspect of the poison instantly killing him was mentioned in Age of X. This is why it was so stupid to remove his healing factor.

Anyway, Old Man Logan still has a working healing factor, so he doesn't have to worry about it.

Yeah it's strange i don't even think the poisoning exists anymore, Bullseye has adamantium coated on his skeleton and he isn't dying, it seems that people have forgotten about it wolverine heals just as fast as other people with healing factors without the adamantium skeleton.
