Been a long time since I enjoyed a Wolverine story this much. 0

We needed this.This is straight back-to-basics Logan action. It's the Wolverine we grew up reading in the 90's (only without the superhero tights). The tough-guy loner who's struggling to put the pieces of his past together. Enemies and allies aren't black or white and the story is held together by a big web of conspiracy. I'm the best at what I do - except in MAX 0

Okay, so maybe I just had high expectations because Wolverine's my favorite X-Man and he's apparently perfect for the MAX universe.Firstly, the Cover is boss. Pretty Good.The main art was wasn't good, wasn't bad either. Didn't feel right for the comic.The flashback art was just freaking atrocious. Ugly as crap. And there's this one panel where Wolverine's face looked like it was smashed by an Elephant Stampede. In a really, really, bad way.The story doesn't really stand out as he's in a sticky s...
