A Little late writing this, but why not?

The Good: I've dipped in and out of WATXM but the series is pretty good every time I pick up an issue. I think the X-Men tie ins for AvX have been consistently better than the main books, at least speaking for this series and Uncanny X-Men since I haven't picked up the others yet. Aaron with me is either hit or miss and he hit the mark this issue. Seeing some of the X-Men in brief fights with a touch of humor takes away some of the garbage from the main books and adds a touch good. "Iceman Smash" was an awesome quote and Rachel fighting Iron Fist with Kitty screaming at the children to put away the tablets then yelling fight commands at Rachel was a good chuckle. Aaron does a good job of mixing the humor of the book with the seriousness of the theme here and I like it. The dynamic he set up with Hope and Wolverine was well written in this issue and I like Wolverine but due to being everywhere he has no time for some consistency which is what I think he needs and Aaron shows he can do that. The dialogue was great, the action was good and the dynamics between characters were good and it was a refreshment yet again, to have Bachalo off the book. Nothing against his artwork but it really is hit or miss with him too.

The Bad: I can't find much to complain about. The issue wasn't amazing but it was nothing bad.

Recommended: More than the main titles.

This is issue 11 of Wolverine and the X-menThe GoodThere is a good scene at the beginning of this issue with Warbird and Kid Gladiator which is a bit predictable with the outcome but fun all the same. There are several pages of Avengers and X-men fights which eventually leads in to the Iceman Red Hulk fight and all of these pages are very well done. The best bits of this entire issue are the Wolverine and Hope scenes with Wolverine remembering Jean Grey which are very good. Then we end up with t...

I have come to realize that my problem with this series is neither the humorous theme nor even Wolverine's continuous overexposition. It's Chris Bachalo's art; I can't stand it, it is just too convoluted and it's like he tries too hard. I thought that issue #11 was very nice and Nick Bradshaw's characters looked cute LOL.Please check my mini-review here:http://bit.ly/K75xeZComments and feedback are always welcome!...
