Wither and Rockslide were formerly teammates at the Xavier Institute as they were both members of the Hellion Squad. Kevin has now left the Institute to be the bridegroom of Selene and so his relationship with Rockslide has ended.
Wither is Selene's new apprentice. Withers powers include ability to disintigrate any organic matter by touch. He is unable to 'turn off' his powers, much like Rogue. Selene possesses telekinetic abilities that give her complete psionic control over inanimate object and fire. She can cause inanimate objects to move according to her will by projecting part of her absorbed life force into them. She can cause inanimate objects in her presence to disintegrate. She cannot, however, rearrange the atomic or molecular structure of matter.
Senyaka is from Sri Lanka, was a part of Acolytes and has energy-based whips. He is one of the more violent members of the Acolytes and embraces Fabien Cortez's view of human extermination.

Kevin was in love with Laurie and although Laurie initially reciprocated those feelings, she was torn between Wither and Elixir. She ultimately never returned his feelings, and he burned off some of her hand on accident.
Sofia Mantega is a mutant with wind-based powers. After M-Day and the loss of her powers, she became a member of the New Warriors and renamed herself Renascence. Years later, after her rebirth on Krakoa, she recovered her powers.
A long-lived mutant with the rage of a beast and the soul of a Samurai, James "Logan" Howlett's once mysterious past is filled with blood, war, and betrayal. Possessing an accelerated healing factor, keenly enhanced senses, and bone claws in each hand (along with his skeleton) that are coated in adamantium; Wolverine is, without question, the ultimate weapon.
