For Rat and Mole, the horrors of the Wild Wood have nearly been forgotten… Their emotions now fully restored, they enjoy the warm welcome of Badger who offers them lots of comfort and reassurance… and his food reserves, in his underground labyrinth where they find some pleasant surprises. Soon though, they have to go home where another surprise awaits them: Toad has gone mad. Mad for speed, engines & the smell of oil and petrol… In other words he was motorcar mad. To make the impetuous amphibian see sense, his friends take a tough stance. But will that be enough?
