Aja is one of several young kids who assists with the latest incarnation of the New Warriors.
Angel Salvadore was a student at the Xavier Institute. Depowered, she is now part of the New Warriors along with Beak, now known as Blackwing.
Earth #58163 House of M In this re-envisioned/recreated version of Earth-616 world of Scarlet Witch, mutants are the majority and are in power and baseline humans are forced to live in hiding. In this reality Anole is not yet field ready and is in the beginning stages of the SHIELD training department. He is shown being trained by Aurora and Northstar along with a few other newer recruits. Wind Dancer (currently known as Renascence in Earth 616) is another trainee under SHIELD's Hellions squad. Earth 616 ========= In the main reality, Wind Dancer and Anole were students at the Xavier Institute until Wind Dancer was depowered, left the school, and adopted the identity of Renascence.
The two were friends during their time at the Xavier Institute. Following the events of M-Day, Blackwing unsuccessfully tried to recruit Sofia into the New Warriors. She later decided to join the team and the two are now teammates.
Beast was one of Wind Dancer's professors.

Scott "Cyclops" Summers is leader of Charles Xavier's X-men. He has the ability to absorb energies in the environment and convert them into optic blasts.
Dorothy Alleyne is the mother of X-Men member Prodigy.
Dust was a student at the Xavier Institute and one of the New X-Men in training. She is identified by her Niqab, which she wears instead of the traditional X-Men uniform. She is currently enrolled at the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning.
Sofia and Josh are good friends and were teammates as the New Mutants. Sofia helped Josh join the team even after Josh was ostracized by all of her friends due to his anti-mutant attitude before he found out that he himself was a mutant, too.
Emma Frost is a fictional character originating from Marvel Comics. Originally starting off as a super villain and enemy of the X-Men, during which she was the White Queen of the Hellfire Club, Emma Frost is a powerful mutant telepath who can transform herself into organic diamond. She has become a prominent member of the X-Men. A gifted teacher, Emma is renowned for her beauty, wit, and sense of fashion.

Hellion had an instant attraction to Sofia since the day they first met. However, their ideals, friends, and personalities often clashed. The two were rather competitive and began to drift apart until Northstar's death, which opened up a new side to Hellion. When M-Day struck, Hellion made disparaging remarks about the also depowered Prodigy, Sofia was deeply hurt and left the Institute without telling Julian. The two have not spoken since, but both have been shown to dream about each other. Sofia and Julian were also together in the House of M reality.
Jean Grey was one of the five original X-Men. An omega-level mutant telepath and powerful telekinetic, Jean has gained near limitless powers as a recurrent host of the Phoenix Force. She is known for her return from death and as the wife of Cyclops.
Jubilee tried repeatedly to get Sofia Mantega, the depowered mutant formerly known as Wind Dancer, to join the New Warriors, and eventually succeeded. She is able to relate to Sofia because of the similar struggles they've faced since M-Day.
Karma is a mutant with the ability to mentally possess other beings. A founding member of the New Mutants, she is one of the few confirmed and openly lesbian characters. She lost a leg and now has a cybernetic one in its place.

Kitty Pryde (a.k.a. Shadowcat) is a mutant gifted with the ability to become intangible and phase her entire body through solid material. A talented prodigy, she became the poster child of the X-Men; eventually reaching maturation and becoming the team's current leader.

Loa is a mutant with the ability to dissolve the molecular bonds of anything she touches. She also gained the ability to breathe underwater from an Atlantean Amulet that her grandmother obtained from her friend who was Namor's old girlfriend.

A former member of the Hellions training squad, Mercury was a junior member of the X-Men. Her mutant power transformed her entire body into living liquid metal. Although continually struggling to accept her mutant form, she has made strong friendships with other young mutants under the X-Men's care. She is currently enrolled at the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning.
Miranda Mantega is Sofia Mantega's mother. The two were very close up until Miranda's tragic death when she was killed during a riot while buying a gift for her daughter. Following her death, Sofia was sent to live with her father, Walter Barrett.
Moonstar was mentor of the New Mutants squad and Sofia was the first student she had recruited. The two had formed a close relationship and they had a tearful goodbye after all the depowered mutants were asked to leave the Xavier Institute.
Nga Coy Manh is the younger sister of Karma and twin sister of Leong Coy Manh
Kurt Wagner is a prominent member of the X-Men and former member and leader of Excalibur. He possessed the Neyaphemian ability of teleportation, as well as incredible agility, wall scaling and a prehensile tail. Nightcrawler is a devout Catholic, contrasting his demonic appearance. He is a highly skilled swordsmen and former circus acrobat.
