    William Jungkuntz was a brilliant up-and-coming artist when his life was cut short by a sudden illness at the age of 30. His major influences were Frank Miller, who dedicated the first volume of "The Dark Knight" to him, and Howard Chaykin, as well as Neil Adams, who gave him his first job as a graphic designer with Continuity Graphics.
