    WildStorm Productions was a founding studio at Image Comics before becoming an imprint of DC Comics in 1999. It started in 1992 by a team of comic creators - Jim Lee chiefly among them. It closed in 2010.

    Authority Prime showcases two WSU teams (The Authority and Stormwatch) and some history. It's enjoyable if you just want to read a fight as well. If you want to know where things are going instead of what's already happened you can check out the recommended reading here. If you want to look at the WSU as it's been known for a while the main teams/books were Stormwatch, Wildcats, Gen 13, Wetworks and The Authority. You don't have to read all of those, just get a sample of each and follow whichever books you like, don't know if you'll be able to find it all though. My personal favorites are Wildcats (3.0 was the best) and The Authority (starting from Ellis' run on Stormwatch).

    gen13's one of my favorite books...i highly recomend the original series and the new rebooted series is good too just really confusing if you haven't read anything wildstorm since armageddon

    Saw this and thought it was pretty good. It's a summarization of Wildstorm's 16 years of publishing.

    Sorry, I realize this post is almost a year old but I'm curious what you ended up trying from Wildstorm because I've got some suggestions but it may be a moot point by now.  :)
