Wildstar is a native of the planet Starhaven. Starhavenites normally have large, feathery wings that enable them to fly. Wildstar was born with small, deformed wings, but she also had a mutant ability to track anyone. Vril Dox transformed her in a being of pure anti-energy which enabled Wildstar to create wings and fly through space. She also gained the ability to project anti-energy as offensive blasts.
Wildstar joined Dox's R.E.B.E.L.S. group to battle the menace of Starro. After Starro's defeat, Wildstar joined L.E.G.I.O.N.
Wildstar is a sort of combination of Legion of Super-Heroes members Dawnstar and Wildfire.
