    History

When the plane of USAF Major Wolf goes down in the Arctic, the major suffers amnesia.  He falls in with a pack of wolves, living like them until he's found by the Air Force.  Because his is widely presumed to be dead, Wiley is asked by Central Intelligence's Top Priority Unit One to partake in a secret program.

He is trained to physical perfection and is hypnotized so that he can alter his facial features any way he wishes.  Wiley is given a costume which, though only one molecule thick, protects him from gas, bullets and acid attacks.  The costume also allows him to survive indefinitely underwater, at any depth, and to defend freedom under the code-name of Werewolf.

At his side is Thor, one of the Arctic wolves.  Radio implants in Thor's head and Werewolf's throat allow them to communicate directly.  Because of his top secret status, Wiley lives at an isolated mountaintop retreat.

Not to be confused with the Marvel character Werewolf By Night.
