¹Although the specific trends varied by era, including seemingly random variance in this year alone, this was effectively the final issue in the decades-long tradition of full-color chapters being a norm in the magazine. This is likely due in part to a general trend of phasing out two-color pages entirely from manga pages (they are still used as normal for non-manga pages), the phasing out of this page-type was the most inconsistent trend over the next year with some significant variation between how many two-color pages were used in partially colored chapters before they virtually stopped altogether. This meant rare full-color chapters going forward were generally done in four-color which had never been the norm and happened about as often before this period as after.
