    Complications arise in Astro Boy: The Hot Dog Corps as the faithful dog Pero, now transformed into a humanoid robot, tries to go back to his master, who doesn't recognize him. Later in the volume, Black Jack tells the tragic story of Black Jack's old friend, a killer whale named Triton, who used to frequent the bay where the doctor lived. Also included are the continuations of Buddha and Phoenix: Karma.
