    Tim Blake Nelson played Samuel Sterns in the Louis Leterrier-directed film The Incredible Hulk. This was the character's first big screen appearance.

    In the film, Sterns is a doctor specializing in cellular biology that communicates with Bruce Banner via the codename Mr. Blue. He later ends up taking in Banner's irradiated blood after suffering a head wound at the hands of the Abomination-- laying the foundation for him becoming the Leader.

    Harvey Elder

    Nelson will play Harvey Elder in the 2015 film Fantastic Four. The film, directed by Josh Trank, is billed as a contemporary re-imagining of the Fantastic Four franchise.
