    Max Allan Collins is a prolific writer who has worked written novels, films, television programs and comics, both for magazines and for newspapers, he is the person they went to, in 1977 to take over Dick Tracy when it’s creator retired, writing it until 1993. 

    For the comics he has created Ms Tree, Wild Dog (DC), Mike Danger, Johnny Dynamite, and the Road to Perdition graphic novel as well as working on already established characters for a variety of companies.
