Ginny Weasley

Origin

The daughter of Arthur and Molly Weasley, and the only sister of Ron , Fred, George , Charlie,Bill and Percy Weasley, Ginny was born on 11th August, 1981. She met Harry Potter when he was going to Hogwarts for the first time.

Ginny Weasley was originally created by J. K. Rowling for her Harry Potter series.

Major Story Arcs

Chamber of Secrets

When Ginny was coming to Hogwarts for her first year, the Weasley family bumped into Lucius Malfoy. He slipped Tom Riddles diary in Ginny's bag. At Hogwarts, Ginny started writing in the diary. She wrote all her secrets in the diary. Gradually, Tom Riddle started controlling her. He made her open the chamber of secrets. When she became suspicious, she threw away the diary which was later picked up by Harry Potter. When Ginny realised that Harry had the diary, she stole it from him fearing thats the diary would tell Harry that she had a crush on him. Later the diary took full control of her and dragged her into the chamber. She was later saved by Harry Potter.

Goblet of fire

Ginny went to the yule ball with Neville Longbottom. She was one of the people who saw Harry come back from the graveyard with Cedric's body.

Order of the Phoenix

Ginny stayed at the headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix, 12,Grimmauld Place for her summer holidays with her family, Harry, Sirius , Hermione and occasionally accompanied by rest of the order. At hogwarts she started dating Michael Corner. She also started playing seeker for Gryffindor Quidditch team after Harry was banned. She joined the Dumbledore's Army learning defense against the dark arts from Harry. When Harry saw Sirius being tortured by Voldemort at the department of mysteries, Ginny helped and accompanied him to the ministry. There she fought the death Eaters in the battle of ministry along with the the Order and rest of her friends Ron, Neville, Luna , Hermoine and Harry.

Half blood prince

Ginny had started dating Dean Thomas at the end of her fourth year. When she found out that Harry was taking from the half blood prince's book, she was concerned but was soon relieved after Harry proved to her that this was just an ordinary book and nothing like Tom Riddle's diary. As Harry was back as the quidditch captain, Ginny started playing as seeker. Sometimes later she broke up with Dean because of Harry, who was under the influence of Felix Felicis. When Harry was put in detention for using Sectumsempra, a dark spell in the Prince 's book on Draco Malfoy and had a row with Hermione, Ginny sided with Harry. After winning a quidditch match for Gryffindor while Harry was in detention, she was kissed by Harry and the two started a relationship. Ginny fought in the battle of astronomy Tower. After Dumbledore died, Ginny attended his funeral along with Harry. Harry broke up with Ginny after the funeral to complete his mission that Dumbledore had left him.

Deathly Hallows

Ginny returned to Hogwarts for her sixth year. After Snape was made headmaster and the Carrows were appointed as teachers, Ginny along with Neville, Luna and the rest of the Dumbledore's army led a revolution. They tried to steal the gryffindor sword, defied the Carrows and spent most of the time in room of requirements. Ginny couldn't return to Hogwarts after Easter holidays as Weasleys had been declared as public enemies. Ginny fought the death Eaters in the battle of hogwarts. She lost her brother Fred and her friend Tonks in the battle. She screamed loudly when she thought Harry was dead. She fought Bellatrix Lestrange along with Luna and Hermoine. After a killing curse barely missed Ginny, Molly Weasley went berserk and killed Bellatrix. After Harry killed Voldemort, she was one of the first ones to reach him and hug him.

In the future she married Harry and had three kids with him, James Sirius Potter, Albus Severus Potter and Lily Luna Potter.
