    Dejah Thoris, on a mission of mercy to the south pole, has been captured by the Phondari, a dark-skinned pirate captain, supposedly from one of Mars’ moons. It turns out that Phondari’s impressive ship is much, much smaller than the one chasing her, and now Dejah Thoris is caught in the middle.

    I sometimes enjoy it when I discover a series after the fact, because it means that there is no waiting around for the next issue to find out what happens.  It has basically happened every issue so far in this series, but this has probably the best cliffhanger ending thus far.  Dejah has already been taken prisoner but here she is taken prisoner by a different group after her last captors become her new comrades comprised of those held against their will.  The new captors have different plans th...
