His human persona was overcome by that of the reptile he now coexists with, driving him mad. He joined the WarGuard in a quest for world domination.
Richard Talsorian was the captain of the Monitor-One space station. After a rogue comet came in contact with the station and bathed the personnel in radiation, his heroic efforts kept the station from losing orbit. Though he and a few others survived the encounter, they we driven mad by the comet's effect, and given phenomenal powers and abilities.
