    Voltron # 1

I have bought all four covers for this book. I also hear that there is more covers to buy. The cover is absolutely beautiful! The creative team over at Dynamite Comics even got Alex Ross to do some cover art for the book. And I was just really happy to buy four covers of something I really love and enjoy. I also have all everything before this series, the 1985 issue # 1 along with the 2002 Image Comics release with # 0 throughout the entire series before it got cancellation. When it comes to indie comics putting out the classic stuff you knew and loved as a kid you can’t help but take pride as a comic book fan purchase your favorite shows in comic books as a kid. You can actually hear the animation in your mind reading these books and just falling into the pages.

However with this review lets get started. I apologize for any minor spoilers, however I feel is necessary to get my point across, now we have a fight scene that takes place in the future 2124 then we have a back story from the year 2012. I actually really appreciate President Obama in this book, it gave a serious real feel and I can actually picture in my mind just from hearing the President talk. And delivered some intriguing questions to what happen then and now, and you can’t believe you know who is talking to the President Of The United States Of America. Really great scene thumbs up. Some complaints I have for the book I just can’t believe the artist Marcelo Pinto colored Princess Allura with white hair, however the final page Princess Allura has blonde. Rebounded nicely, I almost believed it was a new look. Can you believe that, I mean being a big fan of Voltron just makes me feel less likeable to the book. I think the pencils are just okay, average at best over all. There some scenes that you just get really bad ass to some of the pencils that do look a little sloppy. So I would recommend more effect on the art knowing the team is doing the best job for the fans. I’m on board with this unless otherwise. I rate this book a 3.5 of 5.0 rating.
