    PDSH's Description:

    Xenos

    Real Name: Xenos

    Created by: Vito Delsante

    Origin

Xenos is an alien that was sent here to destroy the Earth. However, he fell in love with our culture… specifically, our food. He’s a shapeshifter, which enables him to experience life on Earth as anyone… which means he can eat anywhere. His costume has an Egyptian feel to it as his culture on his native planet was very influenced by Egypt.

    Notes

    • Xenos is an open source character created specifically for use by anyone. Feel free to use it any way you wish however, you must give the creator, Vito Delsante, credit.
    • In 2010, comic book writer Vito Delsante chose to create 35 new characters that he would voluntarily donate to the public domain. Xenos was #15 (although he's actually a character created by Mr. Delsante in 1999).
Please include the paragraph below anywhere you use the character:

The open source character of Xenos, created by Vito Delsante, has been released to the Public Domain, and is available for use by anyone with only the following conditions: this paragraph must be included in any publication involving Xenos, in order that others may use this property as they wish, following the same rules as Public Domain properties. The main rule being that your version's story cannot be like the story of anyone else's version (meaning: you may not reference elements from the story you find the character in, because they belong to that story's author, and are not open source).

    Character Viability

There are a couple of "Xenos" characters listed on Comic Vine:

I know I've seen this name in movies and other places as well (sorry, I've forgotten where exactly). "Xenos" is from the ancient Greek, and has a few different meanings- "stranger" or "guest" being the usual ones.

With such an ancient origin, and the fact that DC and Marvel both have their own "Xenos" characters, I would think that the name is still viable as an Open Source Character name. Just make sure your version isn't like anyone else's version.

    Thanks for reading! :^D
