    Real Name: Tom

    First Appearance: November 19, 2011

    Created by: Vito Delsante

    Origin: "Tom Foolery" is the stage name of a modern-day Vaudeville actor who is secretly a killer. Tom stages eleborate murders, ones that require any hero to enter his "Theatre of Death," usually a stage or set built specifically for his schemes.

    Notes:

    • Tom Foolery is an open source character created specifically for use by anyone. Feel free to use it any way you wish however, you must give the creator, Vito Delsante, credit.
    • In 2011, comic book writer Vito Delsante chose to create 35 new characters, 23 of which, he voluntarily released into the public domain in early 2014. Tom Foolery was #18.

    Character Viability

    There's no CV page for him, but there is a Tom Foolery in the comic The Family Dynamic.

    "Tomfoolery" is in the dictionary, and I think the wordplay to make it into a name is a no-brainer. So, I'm going to say that it's still viable as an Open Source Character name. Just make sure your version isn't like someone else's version.
