Tortured
First of all, this is supposed to be a T+ series, due to the violence content, but apparently there´s no classification in the cover and that´s a mistake, that´s not a good read for all ages at all. The change in the creative team isn´t bad, Val Semeiks did a great job in charge of the pencils, he was a honorable replacement to Eaglesham. The story in this issue is about survival, is about trust and sending a message - both groups are trying to send a message to each other: the Society of Villains is saying "don´t mess with us, otherwise you´ll end up just like the Secret Six" and the Secret Six is saying "think you already won this thing, think again, ´cause now we started playing for serious". There´s a high level of violence display in this issue, a lot of torture and pleasure about doing it, really sick and it was interesting seeing Black Adam oposing to these methods, only to get bent by Luthor´s machinations (Luthor is very well writen by Simone). In this issue the dialogues weren´t as good as the previous ones, nonetheless they´re good, but the best thing about this issue was definitely the art and how the Secret Six managed to stay alive and together as a group. Again, there isn´t a plot per say or the development of one, so I´m starting to believe that this will be just one group fighting each other, what´s a pitty.
