    In terms of quantity, it is much more common for characters to be creator-owned (or company-licensed) than owned by their publisher. However, in comics two of the biggest publishers worldwide (DC and Marvel) traditionally own all their characters. This page is meant to help distinguish characters that are owned by the creator from those owned by the publisher in cases where it's not immediately obvious.

    It was Enemy Ace: War in Heaven written by Warren Ellis and surprisingly it's DC

    Because of the type of story and the writer I was confident it was Vertigo

    Well the 2 Movies were pretty good... they were average interpretations of the Comic Book Character... I guess you can say they did the best they could since it was the 1980's when these films came out... the Animated TV Show was pretty cool... but the Live Action TV Show confused the hell out of me... I think it may have been the way it was shown on TV... cause I have only seen parts of the Live Action Show on TV

    Yeah they were indeed... the first Swamp Thing movie was released in 1982 and the second one in 1988... so dont expect to see any Watchmen or Star Wars level Special Effects in this

    it is, a "sort of club", yes...it doesn't require you do anything but love Vertigo comics, though it would appreciate if you help review and work on the Vertigo comics on this site...if you want to get on the page just PM this account with a list of your favorite Vertigo titles

    Is about a soldier who's a master in disguise, trained himself to the peak of perfection after his face is disfigured beyond repair. He's quite similar to Christopher Chance (check Human Target) But in a GI uniform. He's a black-ops freelance guy, i think.
