Review of Venom #5.  The Story: After dispatching The Fly Flash goes to see Betty and learns that his dad hasn't comeback home yet and he might be drinking.  The Good: I haven't read the first 4 issue of this series becasue I wasn't sure how I would enjoy this series, but after hearing nothing but praise I decided to give issue 5, a jumping on point, a chance to impress me. And it did. In here we get a simple story that really shows you what Flash went trough his childhood and how he became late...

Cover:   This has nothing to do with the issue, but that's okay.  It's still a great cover.  The Good:   The storytelling couldn't get any better than this.  This isn't your typical action-packed issue that we become accustomed to so far in this series, but it doesn't mean that this isn't a great issue.  It tackles other matters in Thompson's life.  Frankly, I know not much about Thompson before this series began.  Sure, he was Parker's bully and best friend, but apart from that I hadn't read ...

What can I say? I was so surprised at this issue of Venom #5. I had no Idea how much baggage Flash has had. With this story being as deep as it was you can not help feel bad for Flash and how much he struggles with everyday life. Between being Venom and the constant battles between his dad. With this story it just proves that this book is being made for the long haul and it not just on the shelves to steal your money because there is Venom on the cover.                                 I give it ...
