bloodflow's Valeria, the She-Bat #1 - Deathwatch 2000, Part 1 review

    Rare and Awesome

This issue is incredible for many reasons. The art by Neal Adams is awesome, with great looking creatures from demon bats and were-creatures to dinosaurs. It is fast paced and full of action from beginning to end. I could not put it down. From a collectible standpoint, it was only available to retailers to thank them for supporting Continuity, and was never sold to the public, making this issue very hard to find. If you enjoy collecting the many gimmick covers from the 90's as much as I do, this is a great one. I believe the cover is acetate, but I was caught by surprise by the fact that it also glows in the dark. This is also the first issue of Continuity's Deathwatch 2000 crossover. For those looking to collect this crossover, I feel it is necessary to explain that the issue number for the individual series can be found by the Continuity symbol, while the number for the crossover chronology is circled inside a picture of a dragon. This can be confusing.
