DC's Legends of Tomorrow won't be premiering for a few months still but production has begun. Casting news has surfaced for a reoccurring villainess. TV Line is reporting that Stephanie Corneliussen (Mr. Robot) has been cast as Valentina Vostok.

Who is Valentina Vostok? You can read her wiki page HERE to find out about her connection to the Doom Patrol. Chances are her character will differ slightly. The report states that she is a Soviet physicist loyal to the Motherland during the Cold War. She's suspected of working with Vandal Savage and it'll be up to Captain Cold and Ray Palmer to try to figure out where her loyalties really lie.

Legends of Tomorrow doesn't have a premiere date yet but should begin at the midseason mark.

As long as she gets the negative woman powers in some accident during this slight character change i'll be happy.

She's awesome in Mr. Robot so that gives me........one reason to watch this show now!

I wonder if the Doom patrol will show up in this TV series. It would make sense.

She's pretty but I wasn't impressed with her acting on Mr Robot.

It's ok. Predictable in that I guessed the big secret season twist in the first episode.

I watched the first few episodes, it was pretty good but lately everyone been saying it was one of the best show for the year so far.

I wouldn't say that. Maybe they're just hyped because if the twist near the end.

Perhaps. So you called Slater being a figment of his imagination? I thought he was going to a mental break down as the story progresses.

Well...everybody saw the twist coming....they even came right out with it when they used the fight club song at the end of episode 9 so I wouldn't say predicting the twist early on takes away from the seasons quality.

IMO, it deserves the hype. The cinematography, acting, and writing are all top notch, especially for a USA show. I mean, it could be on AMC or HBO with the quality they put into the episodes.

@the_kidd: yeah in the first episode. The only thing I didn't call was the surprise family member though I should have. I knew there was something up with the way she was acting but I wrote it off as a trope I've seen before.

@dernman: I'll watch over those episodes with more attention next time.

Kind of hard not to. There was a news article about how more and more major networks are using tired and predictable writing and not taking big risks anymore. Shows have become largely tedious.
