    Since the beginning of the new mutant revolution, Bendis has been building to this issue--the confrontation between SHIELD and the X-Men, the discovery of the man who's been constructing and unleashing new sentinels. And just as the helicarrier arrives at the Jean Grey school and the sentinels swarm its gates, the story abruptly ends.     Comes to a Halt 0

    This storyline has been largely disappointing ever since Magneto has left the series, and, funnily enough, it ends just as he shows up again. Hopefully, this is foreshadowing for better things to come, as this series has certainly not impressed me as of late.The supposed big conflict teased at the end of the last issue is very flat and boring. While the imagery looks good, no real fighting or action actually happens. It feels like one of those movie scenes where they just recycle the same clip o...

    Build up to bust 0

    Art continues strong enough to carry a weak ending to the story Arc. The abruptness of the ending is far to apparent but is overshadowed by the plot developments and characterisation being set up here for issues to come. While this is obviously important it is a shame to bring this part to a close on a deflated feeling. The redeeming quality is the promise of better to come....
