The first arc comes to a crazy climactic end!
What have Fantomex and Cluster been up to while Bishop has been killing the rest of X-Force?
Synopsis
In the Los Angeles subway, Spiral thinks she and Ginny have escaped Bishop. Wrong. Bishop sends an energy blast and demands the girl. Meanwhile, in Bishop's mind, Psylocke confronts a huge bear. She seems to have the upperhand in the fight until she is smashed by the bear's paw. A white owl hoots at the bear, who immediately fades away. The owl tells Psylocke that they seek a different telepath.
Psylocke is kicked out of Bishop's mind and back into her own. She is flying with Storm and Puck as they make their way to the surface. Psylocke informs the other two that Bishop is not alone in his mind.
In another part of the city, Spiral makes Ginny run home. Spiral turns to fight Bishop while Cluster and Fantomex watch from above. Dark Fantomex leaps from the shadows and he and Fantomex careen towards the ground. On the ground, Bishop easily subdues Spiral. Ginny steps in and attempts to take control of Bishop's mind but he is too strong. He possesses her and her body disappears. Storm immediately lashes out and strikes him with a bolt of lightning. Bishop staggers and seems to come to his senses; just in time as Puck lays him flat with one punch.
Psylocke approaches Spiral and tries to engage her in a fight. Spiral, however, feels as if her life no longer has meaning now that she can't sense Ginny's presence. Psylocke tries to talk herself into killing Spiral then and there but ultimately can't do it. Storm comforts Psylocke and Puck gets his picture taken over the body of Bishop. (It makes the papers and Wolverine is none-too-pleased.)
In a hotel downtown, Ginny approaches the bar and requests a drink. The bartender is about to refuse when an owl image takes over his mind. He gives Ginny the drink. She relishes it in front of a seemingly mindless army, all with owls in their brains.
