Tabula Rasa 4

The StoryPestilence tries to give Psylocke a pep-talk about Archangel, to tell her that she is privileged to be his chosen one. Betsy really isn't impressed. Among the ruins of the previously destroyed small town, Archangel, Dark Beast, Genocide, Famine and Death plant both the life seed and The World. They use the combined energies to evolve the area where the town was, and they mean EVOLVE. By about 200 million years. Both above and below ground. They want Archangel to rule them all. The land ...

Remender is AWESOME 2

Man, this issue just makes me think that Remeder should be writing all the X-books.  Uncanny X-Force has been so tight with nary a wasted page.  This issue drops a bombshell - why Archangel chose to save Betsy.  It's great to see the rest of X-Force fight with Archangel and his gang.  Remender's done a good job of keeping either side from being over-powered.  Over each issue you still believe that the X-Force have a chance to succeed but that it's far from guaranteed.  (Or it may be a pyrhic vic...

I never want to see Deadpool eating again 0

“The Dark Angel Saga” enters chapter five and really goes all out as far as heavy sci-fi elements are concerned. One can’t help but appreciate the kind of creativity on display here, although as far as staying true to previously developed canon, I truthfully have no idea as to how faithful or unfaithful this is, but at the same time, I’m not sure I care. It really is a fun read, and definitely not something you see every day in comic books. The story picks up from Archangel and the aptly-named Ge...

It's A Small World, After All 0

THE GOODI continue to really enjoy the art and the writing. The way Deathlok is being utilized in this arc is fantastic, the creative team is really taking advantage of his abilities and unique characteristics.I love the look on Psylocke's face on the first page, second panel. It captures exactly how I would believe her emotional state to be, given the circumstance. The art and the ominous message on the last page was awesome. Maybe it is all the sharp lines, maybe the desperation, maybe both, bu...
