Created by Dr. Phillip Prometheus director of Human Engineering Life Laboratories under H.A.M.M.E.R.'s direct supervision using portions of Ultimo's body. It was provided to several people as a testing phase in order to make profit and learn quite a bit of the infection's potency. Which was far more virulent that expected, infecting anyone and anything it touched.

    Powers

The virus has incredible power being able to infect all organics. Including humans, animals, cyborgs and even gods like Ares. Granting them the ability to concentrate the heat in their bodies into laser-vision and increasing their physical biomass for rapid regeneration as well as augmented speed, strength, stamina, etc. In animals it had similar effects on top of making them infinitely more aggressive, but could cause molecular transmutation at a genetic level; giving two polar bears adamantium laced claws and fangs. While many who're infected were turned into zombies only biting and scratching others in order to spread the disease, those with a strong will remain able to talk and think while under the virus' influence. Ultimo's neural core, E.I. the brain could control the rate of spread and infection, turning plantlife into razor blades that threatened to suffocate the planet by cutting off photosynthesis. In its virus form the robot could merge with and travel surf through its own dispersed liquid metal, gaining in size and power along the way.
