Loki is such a dick...
So this was a pretty awesome issue and mini-series. This is like the bread in the ultimate Thor sandwich (for those how don't get the simile, it brings everything together.) I really like how this explains why a supposed Asgardian God would need a harness to instill his powers, and why there are 2 hammers. This is the reason why the Ultimate universe can be so interesting, it takes what we have come to know and read but offers a fresh and/or different version of the characters we come to know and cherish. These four issues do just that, it offers the origin of Thor though similar to the "actual" (616) story but quite different. We see a very unique (and cool) take on Dr. Donald Blake and "magic" walking stick, in my opinion I would have liked to see more of the "Warrior's Three" but the alternate story of Balder, Thor and Loki's brotherhood and relationship with Odin seemed actually "Asgardian" (if that makes sense) and real. What this issue does best is provide the final details of Thor's joining the Ultimates and how everything came to pass.
Its an awesome mini check it out if whether you like the Ultimate universe or not
