Ultimate Comics X-Men 9 Review
Just as the revelation of the fact that the mutants are created by man and not evolution during the first story arc, Camp Angel learns the truth and lets just say that things begin to turn bad for the already stretched thin US Government.
The High Points:
Seeing back Colossus and Storm is a high point. We see poor Colossus having a bad time at Camp Angel and Storm begging to release him. But as the truth is being revealed, censorship hits and now Storm has had enough. Nick Spencer is giving us an overall of the same timeline but in different perspective of a big event. The Camp Angel Insurrection is happening at the same time that Kitty and her group is dealing with Stryker Jr. in NYC. A nice way to avoid mini events.
The Low Points:
Just as the good stuff begins to happen, to be continued appears. Oh well, can't wait for the next issue. Some people may be tired of explaining the same situation in different POV's but this I think is a prelude for the reunion of the X-Men as a team.
Final Verdict:
An overall good issue, but somewhat lukewarm in reading pleasure, recommended but if you don't want to buy it I understand.
